“Residents and guests will find staff are available 24/7 to provide assistance and care,” says Admissions/Marketing Director Monica Carruth. “Guests can stay for a minimum of six days at Elk Run with a maximum stay of approximately three months,” she adds.

“Older adults can find new friends and discover fun hobbies and activities they may not have been exposed to before,” says Activities Director Barre McKee. “Activities include drawing, painting, gardening, Tai Chi, pet therapy, and more.”

“Elk Run puts forth a communitywide effort to make newcomers (feel at home as quickly as possible,” says Monica. “Within a few days of arriving we conduct new-resident orientations and meet-and-greet activities with resident volunteers, often escorting our “newbies” to dinner and/or group activities.”

Elk Run’s remodeled basic one-bedroom or studio independent/assisted living apartment rentals showcase a long list of amenities, and include the following:
