Hospice Care is a program which provides health care
support and services for people suffering from a life
threatening/life ending illness. For the residents
and their loved ones, Hospice addresses the physical,
emotional, social and spiritual aspects of the dying

With Hospice Care, a
patient is provided with the support needed to assure that
their final stage of life is peaceful, with minimal pain,
with dignity, in peaceful surroundings. The families and
loved ones are provided with a range of services, designed
to address the grief of losing a loved one.
At Elk Run Assisted Living, we recognize that the needs
of our residents increase throughout the aging process.
It is for this reason that we have developed a comprehensive
Hospice Services program for our residents and members of
the community when the need arises. We can provide a home-like
setting in which the terminally ill can spend their time
with dignity and the best of care.
