Elk Run Assisted
Living practices sound financial management to keep rates
reasonable and reserves a number of its units for financially
challenged individuals. We are licensed by the State of Colorado
to accept Medicaid residents, and will assist you in the process
of applying for and receiving those benefits. Of course, if
you enter Elk Run Assisted Living as a private pay individual,
and spend down until Medicaid benefits are necessary to stay,
we will work diligently with you to avoid unnecessary moves.
However, we are not able to guarantee Medicaid availability.
Elk Run Assisted Living works closely
with qualified home health agencies in the area. Upon a doctor's
recommendation, the agency of your choice, will come to Elk
Run and access the residents needs and develop a plan of care,
and provide the necessary services. All this in the privacy
and comfort of your own apartment. Often, this is paid for
under the resident's Medicare benefits. We are knowledgeable
about Medicare benefits, and will help you access all the
benefits to which you are entitled.
Finally, we recognize the necessity for flexible programs
and services that are updated to meet the changing needs of
our residents. Our professional staff is trained to appreciate
and adapt to their changing needs. Functional and cognitive
needs assessments are done regularly to update the care plan
to appropriately address and adequately meet those
